Aztec Capital Management LLC is pleased to once again sponsor the Youngstown Business Incubator’s (“YBI”) 3nd Annual “Shark Tank”. This event invites businesses and entrepreneurs to pitch their business to a live audience in order to gain exposure and potential investment.
The 2021 Shark Tank event showcased the best entrepreneurs and innovators throughout the Mahoning Valley. Over 60 regional startups applied, and the final 5 contestants were asked to share their pitch in front of potential investors and attendees. Of the companies who pitched, 70% were either women or minority owned, and as a direct result of the 2021 event, there was $1M+ of follow-on investments and additional funding. The 5 finalists that are presenting at this year’s event are: Aura Beauty, Tailored Rings, Morgen Technology, YoGo Bike Share & JuggerBot 3d
