Aztec Capital operates under an open architecture philosophy and does not take a “one size fits all” approach to its investment strategy. Our firm allows portfolio companies to accelerate growth, enhance strategic positioning and maximize value at exit.

We believe culture defines great organizations. As such, we never look to change the cultures of the companies we invest in, but rather look to expand on the attributes that these entrepreneurs have successfully instilled in their organizations. Aztec differentiates itself though its ownership flexibility, and being a true value-added partner to the entrepreneurs it invests in. We are not looking to raise the “next fund” but to find and build investments for the long term. Our team can assess investments and make quick investment decisions given our unique capital and operating structure. Aztec Capital pursues both control and select minority transactions in technology, technology enabled services, and business services sectors. In addition, we consider opportunities across stages (from startup to mature family owned businesses and beyond). We are flexible in structuring our transactions to meet the needs and objectives of the company founders and owners we invest with.
